When you connect your email inbox, CLO scans only for order confirmation emails from fashion retailers. We extract:

• Item name, brand, category, color, and size
• Purchase price and date
• Retailer name

We never read, store, or process personal emails, conversations, newsletters, or any non-order content. Only transactional order confirmation messages are accessed, and only those from fashion retailers.

We also collect your email address and account credentials solely to authenticate your session. Your Gmail app password is used only to connect to your inbox and is never stored on our servers.

The fashion items we extract are used to:

• Build your digital wardrobe within the CLO app
• Generate AI-powered outfit suggestions based on what you own
• Estimate resale values for items in your closet
• Show you complementary pieces that match your existing wardrobe

We use AI and visual similarity technology to recommend fashion items that complement your existing wardrobe. This may include AI-generated outfit imagery and product recommendations from third-party retailers. We use anonymized, aggregated style preferences to improve our recommendation models — we never share your individual purchase history or item data with any retailer or third party.

• We never sell your personal data to third parties
• We never share individual purchase or style data with retailers
• We never read personal emails, only order confirmations
• We never store your email app password after your session ends
• We never use your data for advertising targeting on other platforms

CLO uses AI models to analyze your wardrobe and suggest outfits and new pieces. Recommendations may include product links to third-party retailer websites. CLO does not earn affiliate commissions on these links and has no commercial relationship with the retailers shown.

AI-generated outfit imagery is created solely for styling illustration purposes and does not represent any specific individual.

Your item data is stored securely in our database, associated with your account. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated session only.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To request deletion, email us at privacy@clo.style and we will remove all your data within 7 days.

You may also request a copy of all data we hold about you at any time by contacting the same address.

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
